We do this in three distinct phases:
Phase 1 – Internal needs analysis. Through face to face stakeholder interviews and general discussions we will get into your head and understand how you operate and what you want to achieve offline and online. An internal needs analysis defines the web site requirements and expectations from your company's perspective. This critical first step must clarify the companies' goals to provide direction to the web site strategist and the rest of the project team.
Phase 2 – External needs analysis. Using a variety of methods from forums, user groups, offline & virtual focus groups and even live in-person interviews we will get into the head of your prime user and understand what they want from you and how they want it presented. The external needs analysis defines the web site requirements and expectations from the customer/audience's perspective. The Internet is the ultimate open market if you do not effectively meet users growing expectations of what a web site should offer they would find someone who will at the click of a button.
Phase 3 – Competitive needs analysis. We are not interested in adding features to your website just because your competition has them. We are far more interested in understanding the online landscape your prime customers travel in. If they are looking for you they will find your competition from time to time and we need to understand the impact this will have on them.
